How to delete waiting mails from SOST/SCOT ?

Hello everyone!

We are pushing mails in the SOST queue with sending date in the future. Sometimes it is necessary to delete mails from this queue - but the question is: how? Is there a function module which we can use or do we have to delete the database entries from the SO* tables (which ones exactly?) manually?

Why dont you simply delete the queue from SOST itself ?

We have an (abap) application which our users/customers use. they do not have access to SOST and therefore the programm should delete the mails from the queue.

Am not aware of any function modules, but I would check out the program behind SOST: RSSOSOSTSTAT and check what it does for deleting items. Maybe you can extract the logic from there.
