BAPI_PO_CREATE1: Problem creating Service POs

Dear Pals:

I am using BAPI_PO_CREATE1 to create Service PO's. While running it in test mode and passing values in tables POACCOUNT for GL_ACCOUNT amopng others.

I get two error messages:

E MEPO 000 Purchase Order still contains faulty items

E 06 436 In case of account assignment, please assign acc. assignment data for item

Can somebody please tell me ALL the essential fields for account assignment.

Hi Devendra,

BAPI_PO_CREATE1 replicates the ME21N transaction...so try creating a PO using ME21N by filling in all the mandatory details there... now u can use the same details for ur BAPI too

In case of account assignment, please assign acc. assignment data for item

chk out with ur consultant wat value shud come in this field while running ME21N..

Dear Bikash:

I have populated all mendatory fields in the BAPI same as while running the transaction online. It creates a PO online, but with same data denies to do so outputting error on Account Assignment.

Can you please throw some more light on Account Assignment requirements.

normally the account assignment is asked for some type of materials..now if u use these materials in transaction also, it will ask for the account assignment..so i dont understand how come its behaving diffrently wen using in bapi...as far as the functionality of the account assignment is concerned, m afraid i dont know much abt them..
