EHP1 for EP

Hello Guys,

We are in the process of updating our landscape to EHPs.

I have updated the ECC6.0 to EHP4 sp03

and EP to EHP1.

We use the ESS/MSS in portal.

The current version for both the patchs are "600.11.0"

While applying the patch through JSPM for ESS/MSS which is a ECC component,

For the component SAP_ESS in the Specify Queue stage of JSPM

In the Target Release , i get the following "603.4.12, local version is modified by NWDI".

Please guide me if i can proceed with the patching .

Regards

Anthony

Hi Anthony,

Is you ESS/MSS portal is separate instance ?

Is there any specific reason to use JSPM instead of EHPI tool ?

When you downloaded stack from MOPZ then what target version you got for these packages ?

Thanks

Hello Sunny,

Following are the answers to your query

Is you ESS/MSS portal is separate instance ?

Yes the portal is a separate instance from ECC

Is there any specific reason to use JSPM instead of EHPI tool ?

I have used the EHPI for the update to EHP1 in portal. It did all the components but not the ESS/MSS. So i am now updating the ESS/MSS using JSPM.Rest all component of Portal is at 7.01.4.0

When you downloaded stack from MOPZ then what target version you got for these packages ?

Yes, i had downloaded the ehp4 FOR eCC6.0 FROM mopz and the ehp1 for Portal from MOPZ.

The ESS/MSS was dowloaded in the ECC6.0 .

Anthony

Hi Anthony,

Check SAP Note 1359937 - EHP4: Further considerations for ESS/MSS.

It will clear your doubt.

Thanks

Sunny
