Material Master Transfer

Hi Experts

I am trying to transfer Material Master from R/3 to SRM for the first time using T.code R3AS. In the Buisness object for Material i have not set any filter. When I executed the program the status in R3AM1 is running. When I checked the status in SMQ1 it is showing as Running. In SMQ1 in the R/3 side the status shown is stopped. There are some previous statuses on past dates as Ready. Do I have to delete those and start running? What would be the issue?

Can you please explain me how could you resolve your material transfer issue exactly, and where it went wrong and what you have done for that.
