SAP has told a client that you can implement ESS in R/3 4.0 B. Does any one know how to do this?

ESS up to R/3 Enterprise is based on SAP ITS.
- They have to install SAP ITS (last release 6.20, it could be connected to old 4.0 backend)
- The have to install SAP ITS IAC (Internet Application Components) package for 4.0B
- The have to customize ESS in HR

Yes (with few exceptions only if you are using SAP Enterprise Portal)
New SAP Web Dynpro based ESS scenario will be available from mySAP ERP.

Isnt it still based on ITS in Enterprise 4.7 SR1 ext 110?
