How can I create new times series in the planning area without losing historical data?

Tha planning area was intializing until 2010, and I want to extend this time series some years more.

Hi Fernando ,

All you want to do is extend your time series. You will not lose your historical data / the time series key figure values when you extend your time series. Here are the steps to extend the time series

Go to storage bucket profile and change end date in the horizon to the desired value

It may be necessary to extend the time stream id . Find the time stream id from your storage bucket profile , go to SPRO and extend your time stream

After this you can give the desired end date and initialize your planning area. Check this out in your test system first and update me

And what should be the initial date when creating times series?

from now, from the period that I'm going to create time series?

Hi,

You can keep start date as per your time streem defined like if it is on year past then you can keep start date from 1 year before and the end time 2010.

You will not loose your history.
