How to maintain customer specific material descriptions for item?

Is there a way to maintain customer specific product descriptions at customer group level and not sold-to using VD59.

For an entire customer group containing dozens of sold-to and thousands of products, we would need to have the same description for each product. As well another customer group will have the same product but with different descriptions.

Using VD59 for each sold-to is a massive data creation and maintenance effort. Is there a better way?

Hi,

Take a heilp of your ABAPer and make LSMW for T CODE. It willbe one time exercise and help u to do fast.

I don't think in Std it is possible to create CMIR in VD51 for cust.grp..

u can try LSMW to create CMIR for sold-tos..
