WBS element dissaperas after saving the SO

Hi

I have created a sales order and have assigne dthe WBS element in account assignment tab page of SO.However after saving the sales order and while reopening, the WBS field itselfis not shown again in accounting TAB page of sales order.What may be the wrong.

Hi,

Try checking the requirement type for material in Procurement TAB of the sales order. If it is KE, WBS filed will be missing. You need to make it as KP. Maintain strategy group 21 for that material in MRP view 3.

Hi,

Startegy group has been maintained as "10" make to stock.

My problem is that during creation of sales order, I can see the EBS element and I enter the WBS element in accounting tab page of sales order item level. Once I save it and again reopen the same sales order, I could not see either WBS element or WBS element field itself.

check for substitution rules on the sales order document ytpe

No substitution of any kind exist either in PS or in SD.Any other possible reasons.
