Hi All,
I am trying to import few DCs from a track in DTR. I specified the server URL under Window --> Preferences --> JDEnvironment. After that I switched to JDEnv and I logged into DTR, then I browse for the available Trackes. I am able to view the available tracks. Now when I select a track from the list and click next, I am getting an error pop-up saying getting input stream failed,
Unable to open connection to host "servername:50000". The IP address of the host could not be resolved. Maybe the URL is misspelled or the host does no longer exist..
When my team mate tried in his desktop with the same user id and password, he is able to import the track into his NWDS. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling my studio, all in vain. Mine and his NWDI and JDK/JRE versions are same.
Am I missing any parameters that I have to maintain in NWDS?
Please help me resolving my issue

Hi,
Thanks a lot for the replies.
1. We are not maintaining any host entries.
2. We are not using any proxies also.
Thing is when I try to access it from my team member's machine I am able to import the track. I checked in his PC for any host entries/proxy details. He is also not maintaining any host/proxies. I uninstalled and reinstalled my studio(n number of times). But still with no success. Please, please somebody pull me out of this.....

Hi Srinivas,
Though your team member is not maintaining any host file entries, it is always advisable to put the IP address and host name into the host file entries, as otherwise the host name wont get resolved into the IP to which it has to connect.
Also there is an option to ping the DI server from NWDS. Please check that option too.

Check this:
- have you defined servername and mapped it to any IP address? Make a ping to servername yo check this.
- is your system behind any proxy server? If it is, you have to configure it properly in Preferences -> Proxy Settings in your NWDS.
