Does Standard SRM has Validation for Total Value of the shopping cart.

Hi Experts,

Just wanted some clarification does the Standard SRM has any Validation on the Total Value of the shopping cart.

This is SRM 4.0 Version with SP-09, when the user trying to raise a Text order shopping cart with Zero Value, system does not stop him to raise the order and user could able to save the shopping cart sucessfully . But the it triggered errors because the PO in the R/3 system cannnot be created with Zero Value.

So is there any addtional check that which we can implement it. If so where do we have implement it.

Please suggest .

Regards

Srujan K

Srujan K,

Try implementing BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI and add code to raise an error if the shopping cart value is Zero.

Hi Dean,

Can you just clarify me whether this Validation is not there in the Standard SRM.

Hello Srujan,

Dean is right with the BADI, SRM allows in the standard to order a SC which has a value of 0. instead of the BADI you might also consider to use the Approval workflow to check if there is a SC wit total value 0, but for an easy check the mentioned BADI is better.

best regards
