Hi All

What is the movement type to post customer return stock to qaulity inspection stock

i am doing retuns process when ever i do post goods reciept in the return delivery return stock should automatically go to the quality inspection stock.

pls give advises

Hi

In your return order schedule line category DN (DN is the schedule line category of the return order in standard ) you need assign movement type 655

If you assign movement type 655 when you do PGR for the return delivery, stocks will sit in Quality inspection directly

653 will move stocks directly to unrestricted (Strictly not advisable)

651 will move stocks to blocked customer returns (recommended by SAP)

Hi

655 Returns from customer (Shipping) to stock in quality inspection

With this movement type you post returns from the customer with returns delivery via Shipping directly to the valuated stock.

Normally for customer returns which should post to QI, movement type 655 is used.

Hi,

Go to MM02 tcode and type your material and then go to Quality Management tab and then click the Inspection Setup button and then you will see a pop up window. In the Pop up window under the Detailed Information on Inspection Type section, make a Tick in the Post to Insp. Stock check box.

This will make sure that once you make the Returns Delivery then it will be automatically posted to Quality Inspection.
