Upgrade or reimplementation

Hello Experts,

Currently, our client is running on BW 2.1C and is not happy with its setup.

Now, they want to upgrade their system to NW 2004S BI 7.0.

Any Advice, whether it is beneficial to go for reimplementation or upgrade ?

Hi Andreas,

We are in pre-upgrade state from BW3.1 to NW2004s. Do you have any impact analysis document on other SAP system when we go for NW2004s. Secondly, where can I get the resource (infrastructure) requirement list.

hi,

here u need to consider how big ur implemtation has been in BW2.1C.

if its a small model ..then changes can be done and tested.

but if its a huge model and the client requires many more features which are not possible in 2.1C..then

I suggest u need to go for BI7.0 as it has plethora of features!!
