Dialog Instance can not Login

Dear Experts,

I just added a dialog instance to BI system, it has already active and the sapmmc is all green, however i can not login to the BI system thru this dialog instance, the error message is as follows:

- partner <ip address>:sapdp34 not reached

WSAEWOULDBLOCK: resource temporarily unavailable

It is active seen from SM51 and os07 and can be used through it, login from sapgui is error as mentioned above.

I checked the ST22 and got the short dump:

- RFC_ATTACH_GUI_FAILED

Short text

Start 'sapgui' failed.

Error analysis

Task handler error code.. "cannot start: "sapgui" /H/apps1/S/3234

Are you trying to run the SAPGUI on the same server as the dialog instance? Is this 32bit?

Hi Markus,

The dialog instance is separate box from the message server (CI), so we have 3 different box, .i.e. DB, CI and DI, all are using 64bit WIn2008 server, and 64bit kernel EHP1.

The issue has now been fixed, it is due to incorrect gateway configuration.
