Unable to create Source system

Dear Experts,

While creating source sytem in BW i am getting below error

*You have no authorization for basic types (activity 01)*

Target system is CRM , Client is opened , security people are saying they have give all authorization .

could someone pl guide me on this.

Hi Vamsi,

From the error message, its clearing saying about missing authorization. Hence please check the authorization in BI system for the ID with which you are creating the source system connection and also check the authorization of RFC user which you have defined in RFC of both BI and CRM system.

For RFC user better you assign SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW

Hi Vamshi,

Activate ST01 ( authorization trace on BI & CRM system ) and generate the error.

After that check the trace for authorization problem.

In trace you will get which is missing authorization object.

Kindly check the authorizations of the users which are used for confuguration of Source System.

Recreate the scenario & immediately after that run tcode su53. Send the su53 information to security guys.
