RFC Error

Hi Friends,

I am getting "Active connection table is full. Please try again later HOST =... SERV =sapdp00" error on SM59. I have checked that our server's maximum RFC client size is 1000(gw/max_conn parameter is equal 1000 on SMGW transaction). But I see that RFC connection at a time maximim is between 300-350. Where is the wrong? What is active connection table? Is there another connection pool? And I need to read some documents about RFC connections. Can you suggest any document?
