Trouble with remote deployment

hello, anyone could help me with this error

May 22, 2006 2:59:12 PM /userOut/deploy (com.sap.ide.eclipse.sdm.threading.DeployThreadManager) [Thread[Deploy Thread,5,main]] ERROR:

[003]Deployment aborted

Deployment exception : Cannot determine sdm host (is empty). Please configure your engine/sdm correctly !

the scenario is the follow:

i've a sap j2ee engine in a machine and i've a workstation trying to connect to that machine for deployment purposes. I can connect and deploy locally but i cannot do the same in a remote way (from the another machine). Please help. Thanx in advance

Hi

Please check that you have configured the remote WAS properly , You can chekc this from NWDS in Window>preferences>SAP j2ee Engine .

Check the forst radio button and enter the remote hostname and the port number 3601 .

Also you can check this if its properly configured in the Window >Show View > j2ee Engine . This will show all the nodes in the j2ee engine view .
