Getting the current External Id into ABAP WebdynPro

Hi

We are using an ABAP WebdynPro component as an iView in the xRPM portal. It has been put as a tab at the item level. Now we want to have the external id of the item in the input field of the iView by default.

I've searched this on SDN without getting a clear answer.

are u sure , u have selected the right forum for discussion .

there is a similar thread :[Document no longer available] in

SAP xApps . pls have a luk at that , if tht works

Hi Pushpraj,

I got to this thread while searching a solution for my problem.

I want to know how you added a custom tab at item level ( I also need info for handling events from that cstom view).

Please reply to my thread in xApps forum ( Author = Sumit Oberoi).
