Hi ,
We are using SAP ECC 6.0 , We need to get the SAP data into the
MSACCESS for view purposes . So kindly guide me the steps involved in
this issue . Also kindly tell me which version of MSACCESS we want to
use , shall we use MSACCESS 2007 .

Hello,
If you want to insert the full SAP ECC6 data inside a MS Access database, then I wish you good luck !
I suggest that you qualify your need because it does not mean much...

As said before you can't load all the data from SAP to MSACCESS but you can try using database export/import methods to make copy of few tables.

Hi There,
Its possible, export the table by using BRTOOLS utility on database server. On the Brtools select Segment Management then table export enter all the parameters. MS ACCESS 2007 is RDBMS the same table can be imported.

This is not possible.
The SAP data is stored in the database with one user who has all permissions. So if you connect to the database using ODBC with that user you can even drop full tables.
Secondly this is in most cases a violation of licensing for the database (e. g. Oracle).
Thirdly you will circumvent a proper permission checking so all audits etc. are down the drain.
What is your "viewing requirement" that can't be done by an ABAP report?
