testing cost

Hi, we do testing during receiving inpsection. there we issue raw material to perform testing on it and we use specific machines to perform test, some operators will perform test. basically we want to charge for materials and hrs spent by testers. please advise can we create seperate order type like testing order and treat it like any other production order in which we do GI, confirmation etc? whether qm orders will capture material cost and operator cost? is there any other method for the same. please advise.

Hi Raju,

To capture quality related cost in SAP, you need to go with the QM order, that will fulfill all your needs.

Dear Shyamal, thank you for your support. as i understand that in qm orders we can not issue the materials. because we want to consider material cost also in quality cost. please advise.

Hi

Use MB1B>201 mvt>issue against the cost center .

In KSBB check the cost accumulated against the cost center or in MB51 check all cost centers against the 201 mvt.
