storage location x for material plant x vauluation type x doenot exist

Hi ,

When goods issue with tcode vl02n,it pop up a error message with the following information:

Storage location 0009 for material xxxxxx plant XXXX valuation type PRD does not exist

Message no. M7238

i have check the material master data,it was already created for this.

So any other reason for this?

Pls check your storage location in the delivery order, is it the same you wanted to deliver from?

If you have already checked in OMWC and the required data is there, then please check in MMSC where also, you are suppose to maintain all storage locations.

Hello,

I have a suggestion in this issue on Storage Location. Please check whether you are using the same storage location in the Sales

order for which you have defined the Material master data. If not then change the storage location to the one you have defined on

MMR.

Check in OMWC whether the related datas are maintained there. It seems it is missing and hence the problem.

You just try once more to maintain Material for given Storage location,Plant,Valuation Type. Just goto MMO2 and select Sales general plant data tab,.Accounting and Storage location stock and maintain as need and then try to do PGI. Sometime we thougt that we maintained but ...

Hi Jamie

Welcome to SDN forum

First of all check in which sloc and plant the MMR has been created . so go to VA02 and check the material is in which plant and sloc.

Secondly go to OMS2 and check with the valuation type wheather for the plant the Updation has been checked or not

Finally also check wheather in valuation account determination has been maintained for the material type PRD in OMWD and OBYC

Yes,It is.

The storage location is copied from the sales order, so storage location is correct.
