ORA-01035: ORACLE only available to users with RESTRICTED SE

Hi Experts

When i was applyin the addon i have got a error "ORA-03106: fatal two-task communication protocol error" as per

sap note Note 1005758 - ORA 3106 in Oracle 10.2.0.2. I have sucessfullyt upgraded the oracle from 10.2.0.1 to 10.2.0.4.

After upgrade i am unable to start the sap. I am getting a error "ORA-01035: ORACLE only available to users with RESTRICTED

SESSION privilege & ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied".

Please help me to resolve the issue

Hi Venkateshan,

Check the two-task communication parameter is set in the init<sid>.ora file. If it is there mark it #.

Then go to location /sapmnt/SID/exe

& run --> sqlplus /nolog @sapdba_role SID
