Business One and EDI

Hi Folks,

I'm new in SBO, so can anyone help me on how can we integrate EDI with Business One though IDOC interface; or if there is any kind of interface where we can integrate Sales Orders from our Customers into Business One.

There are quite a few different answers to your question.

1. There are partners whom have created EDI interfaces to Business One using the Business One SDK. You can search for these solutions on the SAP Channel Partner Solution Network portal if you are an SAP Partner. That website is located at http://cpsn-channel.sap.com.

2. You could develop your own solution for the import of EDI documents into SAP Business One using the SAP Business One SDK.

3. You might look at using the SAP Business One Data Transfer WorkBench which is an SAP Tool that will allow you to import external data into SAP Business One from Text files and ODBC connections to other relational database.

4. You may want to look at and download the whitepaper for the SAP Business One integration for SAP NetWeaver whitepaper (here on SDN from the main SAP Business One page) and read the discussion around the use of this technology to integrate SAP Business One and R/3.
