SD - Transportation Zone (TZONE) were deleted but TEXTS (TZONT) weren't.

Hello all,

I deleted 50 Transportations Zones for a specific country (table: TZONE).

Each Transportation Zone is assigned with 1 or more TEXTS (table: TZONT).

The Transportations Zones were deleted HOWEVER the texts (on TZONT) were not deleted.

I thought there was a LINK between TZONE and TZONT.

In this case when I delete Transportations Zones, the TEXTS would be deleted automaticaly.

However it seems:

1) TZONE and TZONT link does not exist

OR

2) SAP something worng

Can anyone help me?

Hi Barbara,

How did you delete these Regional zones? If you did so manually ( directly from the table TZONE ); then this is the expected SAP behaviour as these two tables are independent. If you delete entries from either one it does not delete the corresponding entries from the other one as they are not linked inany way.

The right way to do it is to delete them from the view <b>V_TZONE</b> using tcode SM30

Hi Nitim,

I deleted them from tcode= <b>OVR1</b>.

This was the reason I thought SAP would delete the Transportations Zones and the Languages Translations assingned to them.

<u>Just to be totally clear for me</u>: In this case that I have deleted the Transportations Zones from OVR1 and the Languages Traslations were not deleted.

Has SAP work properly?

Nitim, what do you mean? If I delete the Transp. Zones at SM30/ view: V_TZONE, would SAP delete everything?

I mean: by view: V_TZONE would SAP delete the Transp. Zones and all Languages Translations assigned to it?

Well, if I deleted Transp. Zones at tcode= OVR1, I think in this case SAP would delete all Translations Languages entries simultaneously. In my case, this DID NOT HAPPEN!

Difficult to comment on what could have happened.

Did you delete all lanuguges?

It also could be due to some other config entries you have maintained for these zones

Can you also check the following views as well to see if you have any open assignments..
