EHP installtion

Hi,

I have implemented the Enhancement pack 4 on Dev and QA box, we need to implement on PRD.

In PRD we have two application servers and one database instance.

My question is what technical things i need to consider, as this box is newly build ECC6.0 box, there are two users using the system, there is no data in it.

In such a case it will be the same process of installation i have done it on QA.

I would be logging on the database instance to install the EHP.

Please correct me guys.

yes - exactly. The system will tell you when you need to shutdown the application servers; apart from that there's no difference.

Thanks Markus i would be following the same process as i have done it on QA. When during the installation when system gives a message saying to shutdown the application servers, then i will action. Until that i will not action.
