Hi,
I would like to know if GATP can support the next case:
Case 1: the product A has the product B as susbtitute.....and I´ve got in inventory 40 units of A and 100 of B. Now, a sales order comes for 70 of A, so GATP will suggest to dispatch 40 of A and 30 of B to complete the order. This is a basic method, is this right?
Case 2: the product A has the product B as susbtitute.....and I´ve got in inventory 40 units of A and 100 of B. Now, a sales order comes for 70 of A, but I want that GATP looks for B first and then for A, so GATP should suggest to dispatch 70 of B. Is this scenario possible in GATP?
Thanks in advance

Yes. What you are describing is Product substitution using Rules Based Availability checking (RBA) in GATP. RBA supports product substitution (which is your requirement), location substitution, and procurement method (different manufacturing 'recipe' or source) substitution, as well as combinations of all three.
Here is the standard SCM help on RBA

The BP configuration guide for GATP contains a nice section on RBA

Hi,
It is possible using RBATP , and one of the pre requiste in ECC is complete delivery (Av check rule =B) in T code OVZJ for the sales area.
