Hi,

in general yes you are right - they are independent.

But not at all - because they are using the same master data and sometimes same (basic) customizing settings.

You can have customs management without compliance management - but you have to consider the master data e.g. product master and product classification ....

That means you can implement one module e.g. customs management but if you decide to extend your gts implementation you have to consider some points of gts internal integration

hope that helps?!

Ralf

Hi,

in my opinion they can work independently - but also dependently. For example-no export until releated and blocked csd for spl screening is released.

And you can use trade preference results at CuMa-Export.

You can screen your partners at export/import against spl.

At the top level there are the following modules in GTS with the following functionalities in each

SAP Compliance Management

· Sanctioned party list screening

· Export legal control

· Import legal control

SAP Customs Management

· Customs processing

· Transit procedures

· Trade document printing

· Customs communications

SAP Risk Management

· Restitution handling

· Preference processing

SAP E-Compliance Reporting

W.r.t working, each of them works independently and caters to a different trade need.

Thanks
