Display long URL in smartform

Hi Experts,

I want to display a long URL as hyperlink in smartforms for the attachments.

I am using a FM to create URL for document .

i am able to display URL as link .

But URL length from function module is around 700 chars.So i am taking the URL of 700 chars into a variable of type

SAEURI.(CHAR 4096) and this variable i am displaying in smartform .

But the whole URL does not get displayed in the smartform,instead only first 255 chracters are getting dislpayed.

please guide me how to display entire URL in smartform .

Hi,

check whether the window width is sufficient to show the whole length 750 chars.

The window size is maximun.

I am able to display the full long URL in smartform .when i check in sost i can see the full URL and it works properly.

But in the mail for which i am using smartform to display content,the URL is smudjed and the URL is not getting displayed properly.

Pls help.
