Hi, Please advise what is the purpose of using qa07 t-code? which scenario is suitable for that? please advise.

Dear Raju

This is used for recurring inspection and for expired materials. There can be materials which needs to be checked every 6 months or will have defined frequency. Using this T code you can create inspectionlot ( type 09) where in the stock from the unrestricted will be moved to quality and inspection lot will be created

Dear Nagesh, please advise the movement from unrest to quality is manual or automatic? can we use qa07 only for shelf life expired materials or all materials? please advise.

Hi Raju,

It's absolutely automatic.

Kindly go through the link I have pasted for you.

In screen for QA07 select the radio button "To Inspection Stock at Lot Creation" under the section "additional Goods movement at time of Recurring Inspection"

Dear Joshi, after executing qa07, i observeed that the qty is auto transfered from unrest to restricted stock, but not in quality stock. also found that no insp lot is generated to perform the inspection. please advise any setting required.

Dear Friend Raju,

You must select the Radio Button (the second one) "To isnp. stock at lot creation" to have your stock in quality. Have you done it this way?

If yes then it must go in to quality.

As correctly suggested by Gajesh, QA07 is the variant to set trigger recurring inspection lot.
