Active substitution set up - Stand behaviour

Hi all,

I had a question regarding the Active Substitution Set up.Suppose I have a user B set up as a active substitute for User A and User C set up as a active substitute for user B.Then if i create a cart which has the apporver as User A,the work item can be seen in the inbox of User A and user B only but not in inbox of user C.Is this standard behaviour?Does User C should also recieve the work itemm as he is set up as a substitute of User B who in tun is set up as a substitute of User A.

Yes I am afraid that this is standard functionality. The user C will only see the workitems from user B and not those workitems from user A.

Hi,

We had the similar situation in my project also.

This is standard in SRM. WF can able to find one level substitute only. Chain substitution does not work.
