Solution Manager Basic Configuration error

Hi

I am configuring solution manager ehp1 / Oracle / Windows 2008. In basic configuration, under the Automatic configuration stage I encounter a error when running the diagnostics check.

The error i encounter is A failure occured while connecting to ABAP stack on HOST ......

!! Exception : 'user' missing

I found a similar issue in sdn but this has not helped.

I have gone thru Note#937323 which has not helped too.

Any ideas will be appreciated?

Hello Ravi,

Please closely check the hostname in SMSY for this managed system.

It sounds like it is defined incorrectly there. Hope this helps.

Hi There

you need to first make sure that your solman system meet the prerequisit as per this SAP Note 1274287 : End-to-End Diagnostics SP18(EHP1)- SP19 - SP20
