The adapters for an external ECC6.0

We have an external vender's ECC6.0 to be our PI7.1 partner system.

What kind of adapters are suitable for above cnnection?

Hi,

If he is comfortable in providing you direct access then you can use RFC,Proxy or IDOC.

Other option could to use Web service.

More background info about our situation:

We used to have RFC, IDOC and Proxy to connect them when our PI was 7.0.

However last week I upgraded our PI to 7.1, the connections are no longer working.

So I wonder if different adapters are needed for PI7.1?

If those existing adapters should be still working ( I assume), how to trouble shoot?

Hi,

Those adapters would definitely working. You might just need to re-enter the connection parameters like user, password, ip etc in the channels as generally these information is removed while transportation of objects.

After entering necessary information in communication channels and activating your interfaces should work fine.

-->In order to connect from PI 7.1 to ECC 6.0 we have different adapters available.

-->IDOC , RFC and Proxies (XI adapter).

-->But as per the experts suggestion we can go for either Proxies or IDOC adapter.
