load data from an infocube

Dears,

I would like to load historical data in APO.

My model does not combine with R3. I use only Demand Planning.

So, I need to use historical data for my forecast.

I created:

- datasource with DSO and infocube for my planning area

- I loaded data those infoproviders from 01.2007 to 12.2008

- I created time series objects for Planning Area from 01.01.2007 to 31.12.2015.

I would like to use function /SAPAPO/TSCUBE, but it display message:

"Period for date 01.01.2008 cannot be determined".

I was wondering if you could help me.

I added in the cube "fiscal variant" and I loaded data.

Hi,

It seems you use 0calmonth in your cube. But in Planning Area you use storage bucket profile with Day been ticked. You need to create new storage bucket profile (/n/SAPAPO/TR32) with periodicities of month and higher. Then create new PA etc.

In my cube is characteristisc time 0calday and my data are read in this characteristisc.

Could I use in storage bucket profile (/n/SAPAPO/TR32) "PostPeriod"?

Hi Anka,

Do the following things.

1. De initialize the planing area into which you are trying to load data.

2. Change the storage bucket profile i.e. add Day, Month to the storage bucket profile (/SAPAPO/TR32)

3. Add time characterstic 0Calmonth incase you have data in month wise. Otherwise not required.

4. Initialize the planning area i.e. create timeseries for whatever the duration you want to load data.

5. Load data from Infocube into Planning area using /SAPAPO/TSCUBE

Hi Anka,

1. If you want to store data in month wise in infocube then probably 0calmonth characterstic needs to be added.

2. Intialize the planning area.. Need to create timeseries for a planning area to get activated and hence you need to create time series for the duration you want planning area to be active.
