Adding new role to Templates

Hi,

We have one project running in XMII 12. Now we created one new role. we need to add this role to all existing query and display templates. we have lot of templates. Is anyway available to do this at in once time?

Senthil,

you can build a small BLT where you read all Query/Display files (file extension ".tq" and ".td") that you want to change, and add the desired roles in the attributes "ReaderRoles" and "WriterRoles" of the files and save the files again. You can change all repository files this way.

A project archive exported to a working folder, a good text editor that can do multiple file search and replace, and a steady hand should allow you to make this change, rebundle the zip and reimport the project.
