Hi,
I create a Production order in Plant 1000 and I need to draw material from Plant 1200 to execute the production.
Can i have Supply area in plant 1000 and when Prod Order is confirmed stock has to get consumed from supply area in plant 1200.
Can it be possible? If yes pls explain what are the settings required for it.
Regards
Shrinivas
Dear Shrinivas
You could draw the ram material from other plants, for this the raw material master data should be set to externally procured in Plant 1000 and you should use a special procurement key in Plant 1200.
When you run the MRP, then a demand element would be created on the plant 1200, which is then transferred to the plant 1000 thereby it is consumed in plant 1200.
On receipt at plant 1000, you issue the material to the production order or you could use backflush depending upon the scenario at your end.
with kind regards
Sundar

Make sure the following setting are maintained:
1. in material master - maintained the spl procurement type as 40/ 80 for the procure material with 'F'
or for the material is producted with procurement type E
2.in customise for the spl proc type. maintian the plant and the pproc type
