Has anyone ever come across a scenario of extracting data from a cluster table for example BSEG as part of the Inventory Management business process? Thanks

hi Niten,

take a look how to inventory

http://help.sap.com/bp_biv335/BI_EN/documentation/HowToInventoryNW.pdf

...The third of the above DataSources (2LIS_03_UM) contains data from valuated

revaluations in Financial Accounting (document BSEG). This data is required to update

valuated stock changes for the calculated stock balance in the BW.....

hope this helps.

Thanks for that does that mean the best way for me to extract data which are part of the BSEG table is to enhance the 2LIS_03_UM or would I have to create a generic extractor

Hello Niten,

in transaction lbwe in R/3, check for the extract structure of 2LIS_03_UM. If you have the required fields available on the right hand side that can be dragged to the left, then this will the best way to enhance.

Most of the commn fields are covered here.

There can be two ways in case the required fields don't exists:

1> append these extract structures with the new fields and the logic to populate them.

2>Generic extractors need to be created.

Please refer to this post which will be helpful to you:

thanks,
