date selection using inputfield

Hi,

In my WebDynpro application, I have a InputField which I have mapped to the date context element.

When I click on selecting the date...It always points to the current (today's) date. But I want to point to the first day of the month. Please advice me how can I do that? And let me know if I can add background color to that...
