Hi Gurus,

If I create a new RFx transaction type named ZRF, then create corresponding RFx response transaction type named ZRFA , the question is, how to link ZRFA to ZRF? and assign them with different number range?

Kindly please guide

Thanks and best regards

Jack

Hi,

Please check the "Transaction Type for Follow-On Documnets" entry in the "Define Transaction Type" customizing.

Hi Masa,

Thanks a lot.

I checked the system, but for the standard object, e.g. BUS2200 RFx / BIDX does not define any follow-on document

as object BUS2202 ( Suplier Quote) , does that mean, if I don't define any follow-on document for the "RFx" BUS2200,

the system will check BUS2202 as its default follow-on document?

Kindly please hekp to clarify.

Best regards

Jack

Hi,

My reply was wrong. "Transaction Type for Follow-On Documents" is not for RFx and RFx response relation.

It can be used for RFx document series, like RFI -> RFP -> RFQ.

It looks different transaction type for RFx Response is not considered. Maybe there is no good business reason to have different transaction type for RFx Response.

Hello Jack;

I want to accomplish this exact same thing (link a "Z" RFX transaction to a "Z" Rfx Response transaction)

Did you managed to do it? If yes, could you please explain me how you did it?

Than you in advance.

Best Regards
