Generation and build errors after re-import/rebuild

Hi,

After re-importing a model, my DC project got totally corrupted, with NWDS not identifying its own interface files, the views could not recognise its own class files(gives errors that it cannot recognise wdThis etc), and created around 300 build errors. Looks like I will have to start from scratch! This has happened previously, when I tried to Rebuild a DC.

Has anybody else faced this problem? Any way out of this?

Hi,

I've had this problem numerous times - many times a day with all different Web Dynpro files.

Sometimes, simply closing NDS and re-opening it can resolve this problem. Or also try right-clicking on your project and choosing "Repair->Project Structure and Classpath" then when that completes right-click on the project again and choose "Reload->Reload and Rebuild". Then maybe restart NDS if that still hasn't fixed it.

You can also switch to the navigator view and delete the gen_wdp folder and then perform the reload and rebuild.
