CRM 4.0 SR1 install: DBIF_RSQL_INVALID_REQUEST

Former Member

Hello,

After installation of the ABAP stack of CRM 4.0 SR1 with the export of IDES we got the following error after login into the system: runtime error DBIF_RSQL_INVALID_REQUEST for DOKTL.

Every cluster/pool table generates this error, when trying to display data from that table.

The system is installed on Windows 2003 with an SQL database.

Does any one have a clue?

Thanks in advance.

Benjamin

Hi Benjamin,

Look at OSS Note: 359463. Maybe it helps.

Regards.

Hello Manual,

Thanks for the OSS note reference. I already looked at it, but unfortunately in our case this is not the problem.

I installed CRM SR1 IDES and also without IDES (the other export files) but still the same problem. It looks like it has something to do with the database itself. Will install the db from scratch.

Thanks,

Benjamin

Solved by adding the server fix ip address to the host file.

Hello Benjamin,

I have the same Problem and the OSS Note doesn't describe our Problem.

You said, you solved the problem by adding the server fix ip address to the host file.

Can you give more details for this solution?

Thanks

Ronny

Hi,

Solved by adding an Microsoft Loopback-Adapter with the following Configuration:

LoopBackAdapter:

Use the following IP-address: 50.100.100.100

Subnet mask: 255.0.0.0

<WinDir>\system32\driver\etc\hosts

50.100.100.100 <hostname> SAPTRANSHOST

ciao
