Help Required..!

I am trying to create a webdynpro application but i cannot see the gui design screen.

It is givin me the follwoing error:

Service cannot be reached

What has happened?

URL http://applneccdev:8000/sap/bc/wdvd call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available.

Note

The termination occurred in system EED with error code 403 and for the reason Forbidden.

The selected virtual host was 0 .

What can I do?

Please select a valid URL.

If you do not yet have a user ID, contact your system administrator.

ErrorCode:ICF-NF-http-c:000-u:SAPSYS-l:E-i:applneccdev_EED_00-v:0-s:403-r:Forbidden

HTTP 403 - Forbidden

Hi..

Basis is unable to find out.

I activated all the services through SICF..

Still the layout cannot be viewed.

Can anyone give me some inputs regarding authorisation for users..

Hi Navin,

Try giving your Application server ip id and path applneccdev:8000 in hosts file which is located in C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc\

After giving it there come out of application completely and try.

Try to give Fully qualified Domain name ex:servername.gcs.lan:8000 in host file.

Thanks for your input.. I told basis to change entry in the host file but still i am getting the same error.

Any other solution for it..?

The URL i was accessing was working with local host..Those settings were missing..

Basis had to set some parameter.. Thru RZ10..
