Attachment in service desk message

Hi,

I need to add a word document as a attachment in the service desk message and send this attachment as a URL in the email notification. However the word document does not open the correct format.

I have tried the following procedure to test if the document opens in the correct format:

1. T-code = CRMD_ORDER

2. Goto Transactions tab-> Documents

3. Import the attachment.

4. Right click on the attachment. Select option "Send as URL"

4. On the receiving the attachment in the email; the attachment does not open in the correct format.

I have problems with 4 formats viz. doc, ppt, xls and txt. However, pdf, jpg work properly.

Hi,

Please kindly verify if you had the following notes implemented, some of them consist of additional manual steps outlines in the note itself to be performed manually.

1355948 Documents are not transferred to the OSS system

1080131 Check on attachments and file types

(pls take note of the manual steps that you are required to perform)

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. However, I do not want to send attachments to SAP but rather in the automated email notification. So, in case if a service desk message has an attachment, then the email notification being sent should also have the same attachment included.

Please help.
