GRC RAR connectivity with EP backend system

Dear GRC Friends,

I have an issue with GRC RAR connectivity with EP backend system.

In RAR when I try to Synchronize User and Roles from EP backend system by scheduling backgroud job then BG job status is showing complete. But when i check the log I can see the below lines-

INFO: User Sync Search Obj Result is --- Result is count is 0

INFO: Rule Sync Search Obj Result is --- Result count is 0

I check in Informer --> Risk Analysis --> Role Level -->

Here I searched for Portal Roles and the system is not displaying any portal roles.

I have done the below steps for RAR connectivity with EP system-

1) Portal RTA is successfully installed in the EP backend system.

2)Created connector in RAR for EP with System Type:Portal, Connection Type: Web Service,User ID: with super_admin_role

URL: http://hostname:50000/CCRTAWS/Config1?wsdl&style=document, Server name: Portal IP address, Port: 50000

3) Schedule BG job for EP User and Role Full Syncronization.

4) Restarted J2EE engine and rescheduled the BG job and get the same error.

HI Sudip,

Have you downloaded the Master.txt file from the EP ? That's one of the first prerequisites for EP - RAR connectivity, once you have done that, run the job and check in the RAR debugger if you are able to see the User to Action etc for EP

Dear Zaheer,

I have downloaded the Masterdata.txt taken from EP system into uploaded RAR using the below path-

Configuration --> Upload Objects --> Text Objects

Then I have checked Users/Roles in the Debugger window by selecting Portal system but nothing is displaying here.

Once you have uploaded the Master.txt, run the Back ground job with User Synchronization option for EP System. Check if that completes successfully.

While checking in debugger, make sure that you select the EP system in the top left drop down.

Hi Sudip,

what versions of AC and EP are you running if I may ask?

Especially the SP-level of AC 5.3. would be interesting, but also the SP-level of your NetWeaver 7.00 Portal!

Or do you maybe already have NetWeaver 7.01 i.e. an Enhancement Package such as EHP1?

Dear Zaheer,

User Syncronization itself is my problem. You can see my problem description, I have attached the User Synchronization BG job error in my first message.

The Job status id showing completed status but when I check the error file I can see the below lines-

My GCR AC version is 5.3 and Netweaver version is 7.0. Portal is also 7.0.

Hi Sudip,

sorry, should've asked for the service pack (SP) level directly.

So what SP (and fix if any) are you running on AC 5.3?

Is it SP9, the most recent one?

Hi Sudip,

ok, that could be a reason, see also SAP Note 1168120:

The following issues have been resolved in Support Package 9:

-Exceptions while importing Enterprise Portal Master data file.

-Running the Risk Analysis shows inconsistent results for Portal system id.

-Functions get converted to upper case for Portal system in RAR.

-User unable to search permission rules with in search permission rules screen with fields.

-Critical Roles for Portal can't be defined.

Dear Team,

We are trying to integrate GRC with EP. We are unable to do it, we have created an url iview in the portal http://sapgrcd:50000/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/grc~acappcomp/AC when we preview the iview it was asking for login id and password. But it should not ask the login details.

Can you guys please provide me the complete step by step process at the earlest.

In case if you have any documents can you please provide me.

Daniel,

It looks like you want to integrate single sign on to your AC application in your Portal. If that is the case, you probably have other applications in your Portal already utilizing SSO. Therefore you have SPNEGO deployed.

Please follow this guide for SSO deployment for AC via Portal.

Hi Ankur,

SPNEGO is not deployed in EP, we are useing URL iView for calling the application.

We have configure the SSO according to the note 1152343.

Is there any problem if we dont use SPNEGO?

anyone had success on this?

I cannot connect my AC 5.3 SP5 system to a EP 7.0 SPS14 via the Web Service

http_//host:port/CCRTAWS/Config1?wsdl&style=document

Actually that web service does not exist on the EP

I get:

503, Application stopped.

Details: You have requested an application that is currently stopped

What am I supposed to do in order to get that WebService? I already installed the EP RTA agent. But there are no post install steps for the WebService URL
