Hi all,
a bit concept question... we are implementing SRM 4.0 and our customer wants to register up to three alternative bids from one bidder and each bid should be compared and evaluated as separate one.
Could you please give some ideas how to realize this task?
With regards,
Olga
Hi Olga,
you have to bypass std controls for this.
In the std, one can create several Bids per bidder only by using different contacts (a warning popup just says you that a bid was already created for your company).
If you comment this control, you can allow the same contact to create several bids. You will also have to change the Bid Invitation "Supplier/bids" tab to display all those bids, otherwise only one bid is displayed by Supplier/contact couple.

Thanks for the answer.
I tried with two contact persons from one company-vendor and it works, but for sure we need a possibility some bids from one contact person.
Could you please describe more detailed how to bypass the control and change a table of contacts/bids.
Thanks in advance,
regards,
Olga
