Hi,
Iam doing OS/DB migration from ECC6.0 Sr3 IBM/AIX + Oracle 10.2 to Windows2003+ MS SQL2005, during import state
SAPInst i choose the system Copy -> MS SQL -> Target system installation -> Central system -> Based on AS ABAP -> Central system. In the running phase: "Post load activities" an error occurred:

I have seen similar issue in sdn some one answerd as The environment variable MSSQL_FORCEOLEDB = 1 has to be set for the userID performing the installation
My installation user id ' sapinstall ' and i already set environment variable and system variable MSSQL_FORCEOLEDB = 1 . But no result.
I have to finish this activity this week end. So if any one experianced similar issue then please adress asap.

Is your DB up and running?.... the "Can't get R/3 version" could mean that the DB is not open...
Do and R3trans -d and post the trans.log here

I have upgraded to highest patch 221 but the issue still same.

As per my understanding there are some library file missing or you need to upgrade the dll files.

John, not sure but check sapinstall has administrative access or not. Check the permissions for the directories too.
