Hi,
if I try to printout a smartforms with special letters like 'Ü' in China I do not get the correct printout. Does somebody know how I can resolve the issue? I'm using a HP printer which is directly connected to a PC which is setup in English with a Chinese character set.
Thanks and best regards
Thomas
Note that if you use CNSAPWIN device type (which uses code page 8434), the Ü is not defined. I found Note 1038413 - Unicode SAPWIN device type for CJK font which provides ZHANWIN device type in Unicode (HANWIN will be later provided as standard).

What incorrect printout do you get?
What device type do you use?
What sap release do you have, and what saplpd/sapsprint release?
Did you check sap notes?

If you need to print traditional Chinese characters, try to use the device TWSAPWIN; if you intend to print to simplified character set, you can try the device CNSAPWIN. Note that both are based on the SWIN driver and typically you'll use the F or G type host spool access method.
