Hi All,

We have a requirement in the pricing procedure where we are using one particular condition type(statastical) which is used as a base price to calcualte the values for the other condition types. Here we do not require any accounting postings and COPA postings for this statstical condition type.

Presently in the pricing procedure we made the condition type as statastical and we have not assigned account key to this condition type thus no account posting is happening for this condition type as per requirement. But the COPA values are flowing for this condition type in the profitability document which we dont required. We need know to how we can restrict the COPA flowfor this statstical condition type?

Regards,

Babs

Hi,

The statistical condition will flow to COPA based on your customizing in KE4I. If you do not want the value to flow to COPA then please change the relevant customizing in tcode KE4I

Hi

Two forms of Profitability Analysis are supported: costing-based and account-based.

  1. Costing-based Profitability Analysis is the form of profitability analysis that groups costs and revenues according to value fields and costing-based valuation approaches, both of which you can define yourself. It guarantees you access at all times to a complete, short-term profitability report.

  1. Account-based Profitability Analysis is a form of profitability analysis organized in accounts and using an account-based valuation approach. The distinguishing characteristic of this form is its use of cost and revenue elements. It provides you with a profitability report that is permanently reconciled with financial accounting.

In costing-based CO-PA, you define "value fields" in which to store your data for analysis. In account-based CO-PA, the values are structured by account.

The COPA applied in your system might be Costing Based, that's why your statistical value is also coming into picture. Take help of your FI-CO guy to change it to Account-based Profitability Analysis.
