WM - Putaway Strategy additional to stock with mutliple storage types

Scenario

Existing stock is sitting in BN3 storage type with capacity for more parts. A receipt is done to put away qty of 1. The goal is to drive the part to a existing bin which the current stock is sitting in(BN3). This issue is that the storage search sequence is setup like this. BN1, BN2, BN3, BN4, BN5. There are empty bins in BN1,, so the putaway strategy will 1st look for addition to stock in BN1 then it looks for next empty bin and drive the part to a new bin location in BN1. How can you force it to look through BN1,BN2,BN3,BN4,BN5 using only additional to stock and then if no bins are available then look for a empty bin starting with BN1.

I'm afraid in this case you have to use user exit MWMTO007.

Hi,

This could be a rewarehousing issue. Consolidate all the materials from other storage types to BN1.So that system will start filling them one after another.
