Hi Raj,
Can you do a directory listing on the following directory and send me the screenshot at piyush.kumar@wipro.com
E:\usr\sap\<SID>\<J2EE_INSTANCE>\SDM\program
May be your installation is not properly completed which may be causing this.
Regards,
Piyush

Looks like you dont have correct version for SDM although I haven't tried this flavour of installation but from description it looks like that
======
Try the SAP NetWeaver J2EE Preview! You can develop applications with the powerful SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio and deploy, run and manage them on a solid and scalable J2EE Infrastructure. This package contains all you need to work with the building blocks of SAP NetWeaver (Java Stack). You can try one of two flavors in the package - the full-compliant J2EE 1.4 Application Server or the non-compliant Java EE 5 Preview Beta Application Server.
Here's what you'll find in the download package:
J2EE 1.4 compliant SAP NetWeaver Application Server
non-compliant Java EE 5 Preview Beta of SAP NetWeaver Application Server
MaxDB 7.6 database
SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio (J2EE only)
===============
What I suggest is that you download and install one of these
https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/downloaditem?rid=/library/uuid/cfc19866-0401-0010-35b2-dc8158247fb6
either
full java edition
or
Full Java Edition 2004s.

hi deepak and ganesh,
thanks for the reply . i have entered details in message server : localhost
message port : 3601
but still i am getting the problem. i tried to select j2ee installed on the local host option but it saying no local engine is recognised. i can see the j2ee engine runnig but i cannot see any SDM engine in my system.how to add SDM server .
thanks..
raj
Hi raj,
First check with the SDM instance, if it is running. Otherwise please navigate to
Window -> Prefrences -> SAP J2EE engine -> Here Enter the values of Message Server Host and Message Server Port.
and enter the SDM host as the name of your J2EE server with the port.
Hope this help.
