in-process insp by customer

Hi, in in-process at each operation first part will be checked by our internal team and after our approval, we will call the customer and he will verify the operation then the part will be moved to next operation. please advise how to map this double in-process inspection?

Hi

You can make provision of operation wise confirmation

You can do this with OPK4 setting here slect your plant and process order type go in details(make setting for confirmation req).

What you can also do is do result recoring by inhouse party then carry out confirmation of operation by external agency.

Also here change the setting to Results Rec. (QM) = Error message if no inspection result exist.

Dear Sujit, Thank you for your support. please advise whether it is possible to generate two inspection lots for in-process inspection at each stage/ operation so that one lot for internal inspection and second lot for customer inspection so that both parties can perform both results recording and usage decision. thank you.

There is only one possibility

Create one Automatically for 03 Inspection type(Internal for RR & defect recording)

and create 03 again manually(Customer Inspection)

hi

Are you going to capture the result which is inspected by your customer in your System(client's ) or just ok/ accepted is enough. If that is ok you can create one MIC as customer approvel and assign to each operation as last MIC .

or else use inspection point

3. Manual lot

Goto QA01 , don't enter material and enter

then here you enter order number

one more suggestion

create 04 inspection type for the same material & in material master select ''early inspection lot'' ,this will create inspection lot before GR

but if you activat this only when the same material need not be inspected after GR by your client then only u can use for your customer.

Dear Sami, I am trying to create manually another insp lot for customer insp. system gives the error message that "an insp lot already exists for order xxxxx". please advise.
