Hardware recommendations for Netweaver Developer Studio

I read that 500MB RAM will be sufficient, but also heard 2GB is a must!

What are your (Developer) recommendations to run SAP Netweaver Developer Studio, apart from SAP's min. requirements???

I wouldn't want to work with 500MB RAM & NWDS...

2GB is a good estimation but it depends on:

- what else is running on the system

- how large is the development

- how many projects are opened

- ...

Since NWDS is nothing more than a Eclipse-PLatform with additional plug-ins, maybe you want to check some requirements by the Eclipse-community, too (www.eclipse.org).

If you just want to run NWDS then 500 MB is ok. If you want to run Developer Workplace then 1 GB is the minimum but 2 GB is recommended.

What is the CPU speed requirements for running netweaver studio? I have heard 1.8 MHZ. Please remember there are other applications running on the box.

I am sorry that should say 1.8 GHZ.

I am running on a pentium 1.7ghz. NWDS runs quite well. I have 2gb RAM.
